What is the process to have
installed on my boat?
First, contact us to discuss your boat and what options you are interested in. We will be able to supply you with a full price estimate before getting started so you know what to expect up front. If you decide you want to move forward, we have two options:
FULL SERVICE: We will come to your location to measure and template your boat using our state-of-the-art digital equipment ( Generally we try to stay within a 150 mile radius of the 19610 area code). Your boat's deck layout and precision measurements are then input and processed into our computer software. Your custom deck is designed and laid out with our CAD/CAM decking software. You will be provided digital proofs of the design and or dry-fit patterns so you can test fit and see the design in person. Once you are satisfied with the design and layout, we will cut your parts on our dedicated industrial CNC router. We come back to your location and install your new deck. This option usually takes about 2-3 weeks from start to finish.
D.I.Y.: After our initial conversation and up front price estimate, we will send you a full template kit with instructions on how to template your boat. The template kit will contain clear mylar plastic sheets that you will use to trace out your boat's deck using a Sharpie marker. Once we receive the template kit back we digitally plot and scan it into our computer software. Your deck is then designed and laid out with our CAD/CAM decking software. You will be provided digital proofs of the design. We will then send you a "dry-fit" pattern so you can verify the fit in person. Once you are satisfied with your custom design and layout, we will cut your parts on our dedicated industrial CNC router. Your finished parts are shipped back to you along with easy to use instructions on how to install . Due to shipping, this process can take 2-4 weeks from start to finish. Your up front price estimate will include everything. There are no additional charges for template supplies, dry-fits or shipping. Again, everything is included in the price so there are no surprises!
